Miguel Torres: Winning is just a part of the Dream

Armando Alvarez, WEC – For some winning isn’t everything; it’s the only thing. For Miguel Angel Torres winning is only part of the equation; part of his accomplishments and his life’s goals. It sounds hard to believe when you’re 34-1 and the WEC bantamweight champion, but in Torres’ case winning is a catapult that has made him for now the face of mixed martial arts in the Hispanic community; a community he’s given back to and that he hopes to be an inspiration for.

Benavidez Not Your Average Joe

Faber even guaranteed Benavidez would become a world champion and has publicly stated that Benavidez sometimes gets the better of him in practice sessions. Fans, however, know little about the soft-spoken, 5-foot-4-inch fighter Faber calls the “The Biggest Little Man In The World.”
