Fedor vs. Choi; Why? Part #1

Cho’s record coming into the match: 1-0 Fedor coming into the match: 27-1 (NC:1)
Clearly a mismatch/freak show that had nothing to do with mixed martial arts. Yet, had everything to do with what’s wrong with the UFC, Dana White, Zuffa LLC, MMA events in general, and the exploitation of fighters at large. What it all breaks down to is what almost everything breaks down to on earth… money. For mixed martial arts it’s like the opening of the wild, wild, west. For the people in power it is a goldmine. All done while exploiting those who risk their lives to bring this white hot entity into our homes via pay per view television, and for even more profit by the providers of these events, via recorded replays of events.
The UFC has been aggressive in buying out other MMA promotional companies, the most prestigious being the Pride Fighting organization in a clear attempt to corner the market..
