sherkLOS ANGELES, Dec. 4 — If given the chance to fight in California a fourth time, UFC lightweight champion Sean Sherk (Pictures) won’t say yes.

Almost a half year removed from a positive test for nandrolone, Sherk — one of 41 mixed martial artists popped for banned substances in the Golden State since a widespread anti-doping policy was implemented in March — finally had a chance to defend himself in front of the California State Athletic Commission.

“At this stage of my career, there’s absolutely no way I’d do something like that,” Sherk said during his opening statement. More on Sean Sherk to California: Never Again

Clay Guida vs. Roger Huerta (155-pound limit)

Round one: Im siked up for this one Guida came out looking crazy and amped up as usual, Huerta looking more calm and collected. Huerta has a substantial size advantage. This is Huerta’s first real test and Guida’s first shot in the spotlight here we go. High kick by Huerta misses. Guida with a jab then shoots for a single leg take down and gets it. Huerta in butterfly guard. Huerta scrambles back to his feet. Huerta throws a lazy jab and Guida shoots, pins him up against the fence and lands a MONSTROUS SLAM!!
